John Traver joined American City Bureau, Inc.’s staff of Senior Consultants in 1999 and was promoted to Vice President by the Board of Directors in 2002.  He is a successful, disciplined fundraising consultant with more than 35 years of dedication to the YMCA organization. John began his career as Community Program Director of the East Side Branch, Metropolitan Minneapolis YMCA, and moved on to other management responsibilities with the YMCA of Greater St. Paul where he ultimately served as President/Chief Executive Officer.  In 1995, he joined the YMCA of the USA serving in various capacities until joining ACB. A graduate of the University of Minnesota and George Williams College, John is also a published author of nine professional articles and a member of the World Futures Society and the American Society of Training Directors.
