With over 42 years of successful and innovative leadership experience with YMCAs and YMCA of the USA prior to joining ACB, Bill has a strong commitment to non-profit organizations. His extensive career has included managing and directing capital development programs to build new YMCAs and developing strong volunteer boards. He attributes his career success to sincere, proficient and sensitive communication to successfully reach goals. Bill’s expertise includes:
- capital development;
- board development;
- financial development;
- strategic planning;
- CEO selection; and
- community studies.
While working on campaigns, Bill places a strong emphasis on fostering a careful and caring rapport with volunteers, something upon which a successful campaign and strong organization depend. Throughout his career, he has been in a capital campaign in every local YMCA he has served.
